Brand Identity Portfolio: Logos, Stationery and Signage for Gulf Companies
Brand identity design is judged on the sign, the card and the stamp, not on the presentation slide. A selection of identities by Kenania for companies in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Egypt, followed through to the items that get used every day.
A brand identity is finished when it survives the sign maker, the printer and the social media intern. This selection shows identities we designed for companies in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Egypt, carried through to the items that actually get used: signage, cards, letterheads, stamps and motion.

A palm monogram in gold for a Riyadh investment company, with Arabic and English wordmarks that share the same weight so bilingual cards and signage stay balanced.

Companies and clinics
Kayan Avenues, a real-estate brand with a black-and-white architectural signage system; Rawafed in engineering blue; Turbo Line car rental with a social media template; and clinic and personal brands where a single colour gradient does the work of a whole palette.

Motion
For Charli Hotels in Jeddah the identity was extended into a motion piece: the mark, the signage and the hotel facade animated for screens and social media.

What brand identity design has to survive
A logo passes through at least five hands after the designer: the sign maker who cuts it in metal, the printer who runs it in one colour on a stamp, the embroiderer who stitches it on a uniform, the developer who drops it in a favicon, and the social media intern who crops it for a story. Every mark on this page was drawn with those five in mind: a bold enough silhouette for metal, a one-colour version that does not depend on gradient, a simplified icon for small sizes, and clear-space rules that stop the intern from squeezing it.
Bilingual is the second test. Arabic and English wordmarks were drawn to the same visual weight and x-height so a business card, a letterhead or a facade reads balanced in either direction, and so the two never compete.
Colour and material, decided together
Gold on charcoal for a business-services firm, gold on deep green for an investment company, rose gold on stone for a clinic: in each case the palette was chosen with the material it would live on, because a colour that glows on a screen can die on brushed steel. Swatches were matched to physical references before the guideline was written, and the signage drawings specify the finish, not just the hue.
The deliverable
Each project closed with a guideline: logo versions and clear space, colour values for print, screen and signage, typography for both languages, and mock-ups of stationery, signage, uniforms and social templates. That document is what turns brand identity design into something the client’s suppliers can execute without calling the designer.
