Arab Women Authority: the Logo That Won the Best Logo Design Award 2026

Location: United Arab Emirates · Year: 2025–2026

Arab Women Authority logo by Kenania: an identity designed pro bono for the UAE-based authority, from the calligraphic emblem to the seal and the flag, which received the Authority’s Best Logo Design Award in 2026.

The Arab Women Authority (هيئة المرأة العربية) is based in the United Arab Emirates. Kenania designed its visual identity pro bono: the emblem, a custom Arabic calligraphy of its name, Arabic and English lockups, a seal and a flag.

The emblem

The emblem places the Authority’s name, lettered in Arabic calligraphy, on a green disc cradled by a gold crescent. A chain ring and a laurel wreath close the circle and give the mark the presence of an official seal, so it holds its own on a flag, a building or a letterhead. It is supplied in full colour, in green with gold, in gold, and in white for dark and green backgrounds.

Calligraphy that carries the name

The Authority’s name is set as a custom calligraphic composition. Its letters are stacked so the name reads as one unit inside the emblem, and it holds together when it stands alone as a wordmark in black or in gold.

Arabic and English lockups

For bilingual use the emblem is locked up with the name in Arabic and in English. The emblem stays identical and only the name line changes, so the two versions sit side by side on documents, event backdrops and digital channels without competing.

Seal and flag

A seal version sets the name around the ring in Arabic and English for official stamps, and the flag places the emblem at the centre of a green field.

The identity at full scale

The visuals below are renders prepared to present the identity at full scale: the name in gold on a marble wall, a desk nameplate, and the flag in the desert.

What an institutional logo has to survive

An authority’s logo is used at every scale: a stamp on a document, an embroidered badge, a flag on a pole, a sign at the entrance. The Arab Women Authority logo was built for that range: a centred circular emblem with a clear outer ring, supplied in colour, single-colour and white versions, with the name available in Arabic calligraphy and in English.
