A Dubai studio that publishes its prices

Most Dubai design studios will not tell you what they charge until the third meeting. We publish our starting rates, scope each project in writing and price it before we draw a line, because clients in this city have been burned by open-ended fees often enough. Our full design package starts at AED 73 per square metre, well below the AED 120 to 550 range you will see quoted for design-only work across the emirate.

The lower fee is not lower effort. It comes from a way of working we have refined over twelve years: a lean Dubai team supported by our studios in Cairo, Kuala Lumpur and Damascus, so 3D development, drafting and detailing run in parallel instead of queueing behind one office. You meet us in Dubai; the work moves around the clock.

We design across the emirate, from villas in Jumeirah, Al Barsha and Dubai Hills to apartments in Downtown and the Marina, offices in Business Bay and DIFC, and restaurants and shops in JLT, Al Quoz and the malls. Every drawing set is prepared with Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence and landlord requirements in mind, so the approval stage does not become a redesign.

Questions Dubai clients ask

Where is your Dubai office?

Kenania Inventive Arts is registered and based in Dubai, with sister studios in Cairo, Kuala Lumpur and Damascus. Meetings are held at your site or at our office; the address is on the contact page.

Do you handle Dubai Municipality and Civil Defence approvals?

We prepare the fit-out drawing set to their requirements. Submission is made through your licensed fit-out contractor or consultant, and we respond to authority comments until the set is approved.

Can you also build the project?

We are a design studio. We brief and support your contractor, review shop drawings and visit the site, and we can recommend contractors we have worked with in Dubai.

How long does an apartment or villa interior take?

A 150 m² apartment typically takes 2–3 weeks for concept and 3D and 2–3 weeks for drawings. A 500 m² villa takes roughly twice that, depending on approvals.

Do you work in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah too?

Yes. The same team covers Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the northern emirates from the Dubai office, with drawing sets adapted to each authority.
