What should a website design company in Syria build for you?

Kenania is a website design company in Syria. We design and develop company websites and product catalogues in Arabic and English, and the user experience of online stores. With BIGBANG IT Solutions we have launched the websites of four Syrian food brands.

A company website in Syria now has to do more than a profile page. Distributors look for the catalogue, customers want a WhatsApp number and an address, and companies that export need an English version an importer can read. So we build the site around what the company sells: product categories, a page for every product with its details, the distributor network, news and trade fairs, and a clear way to get in touch from every page.

Arabic comes first, right to left, and is designed as Arabic from the start. Arabic fonts, menus, numbers and image direction are settled from the first layout, and the English version is built on the same structure. You receive the site with a dashboard, so your team can add a product or a news item without calling us for every change.

For companies that sell beyond Syria, the site shows buyers abroad where to find the products, in English as well as Arabic, as on Massa Foods, whose agents page lists distributors in Syria, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Germany.

We build on WordPress when your team will manage the content, and custom-code with Next.js when the site needs its own back end, as on the Sidi Hisham website, which runs on its own API.

What we build

From a company profile to a catalogue of hundreds of products, this is the range of work a website design company in Syria should be able to deliver.

Company and factory websites

The company story, the product range, news and trade fairs, and a careers page, written to convince a distributor as much as a customer.

The Sidi Hisham website

Product catalogues

Categories shoppers can filter, and a page for every product with its ingredients and nutrition values, as in a catalogue of 78 products.

The Hawa Al Sham catalogue

Bilingual websites

Arabic right to left and English on the same structure, with a language switch and separate versions for search engines.

The Massa Foods website

Online stores and marketplaces

User experience for online stores and multi-vendor marketplaces: the customer app, the orders and the admin dashboard.

A multi-vendor marketplace

Launching a new brand

A website and social media that launch together, as for Golden Potato when it reached the shelves in 2023.

The Golden Potato launch

Banners and video for the site

Web banners and product videos that carry the brand across the site, as on the Hawa Al Sham home page.

Working with a website design company in Syria: four stages

Four stages, each closed with your approval before the next one starts.

01

Brief and page map

We agree the audience, the products and the languages, and write the page map and the scope in a written proposal.

02

Design

Key pages designed for desktop and mobile, Arabic first, and revised until you approve them.

03

Development and content

The site is built on WordPress or Next.js, products and images are added, and WhatsApp and your channels are linked.

04

Launch and handover

Speed and search-engine checks, then the launch and the dashboard handed over to your team.

How we price your website

We give a figure once we know what we are building. When the page map is agreed, you get a written proposal with a fixed fee.

The figure follows the page map

Pages, languages, the size of the catalogue and any extra features are settled first, then the fee is written down.

What the fee includes, and what it does not

Stated plainly: hosting, the domain, photography and advertising are quoted separately.

Payment and ownership

Sham Cash, cash or cryptocurrency, in instalments. The domain and the site are in your company’s name from day one.

We go through the scope with you before any number, so you do not pay for pages you do not need.

What decides the price of your website in Syria

Six factors that move the figure in the proposal up or down.

  • The number of pages: a ten-page site and a catalogue of two hundred products look alike in a render and are very different amounts of work.
  • The languages: a second language means translation, review and its own address for every page.
  • The size of the catalogue and who enters it: product data and images entered by us are part of the fee; entered by your team, they lower it.
  • The features: a cart, user accounts, a custom dashboard, or a link to another system.
  • How ready your material is: a logo, product photography and texts shorten the work, while photography and banner design are quoted separately.
  • Moving an existing site: migrating old content and redirecting its addresses is extra work, estimated once we see it.

Everything starts from the page map, the list of every page on the site and the order they sit in. We agree it before design because it decides most of the cost and the time.

What the fee does not include is written in the proposal: hosting and the domain, meaning the server the site runs on and its address, are quoted separately and registered in your company’s name, and so are product photography, advertising and monthly content. You know before you sign what you are paying today and what you may need later. Payment is by Sham Cash, in cash or in cryptocurrency, in instalments tied to the project stages. At handover the site, its dashboard and its domain are yours in full.

What a website design company in Syria has to solve

The conditions that shape every Syrian company site, and how we handle them.

A website design company in Syria works with conditions a template ignores. Most visitors arrive on phones over slow connections, so we generate the pages in advance on the server and resize images automatically, as on the Sidi Hisham site built in Next.js. Arabic is the first language, so the layout is drawn right to left from the first sketch.

Distributors are the main audience of a manufacturer’s site, so the agents page sits in the main menu, as on Massa Foods with its 14 locations in Syria and four abroad. And the company’s own team has to be able to update the site after launch, so products, recipes and news are managed from a dashboard without a developer.

Hosting and the domain are the condition people mention least. Paying international services from Syria is not simple, so we build on technology that does not tie a site to one provider, and the company keeps its files and its domain in its own name and can move them whenever it wants.

The sites we are asked to repair show the same faults. A foreign template has Arabic pushed into an English layout, so menus, numbers and images face the wrong way. The catalogue is a single PDF with no page per product, so neither Google nor the customer can find a product by name. The phone number sits inside an image, where nobody can copy it or tap it on a phone.

Product photos have different backgrounds and uneven quality, heavy uncompressed images make pages crawl on mobile, and nobody inside the company owns the site, so it stays as it launched for years. We check these points on the old site before we start, because fixing them often does more for the result than a new design. On a new site, they are settled in the page map before the first screen is drawn.

Four websites, one method

Sidi Hisham, Massa Foods, Hawa Al Sham and the Golden Potato launch are four projects with BIGBANG IT Solutions, each published here as a case study. They differ in size, from 24 pantry categories to 78 dairy products in 14 categories, and in language, from Arabic only to bilingual. They share a structure: a home page in the brand’s voice, a catalogue organised the way buyers look, product pages with ingredients and nutrition, and recipes or news that add fresh pages every month.

The same structure works outside food. An electrical manufacturer, a pharmaceutical company or an engineering office needs a catalogue with a page per product or service, an agents or branches page, and a section that keeps changing. The content is different; the skeleton stays the same.

After launch: appearing on Google at home and abroad

We hand over a site search engines can read: one main heading per page, a separate page for every category and product, Arabic titles and descriptions written for what people actually search, and an English version with its own addresses for export markets. We set this up in the structure and the content, submit the site map (the file that lists your pages for search engines) on launch day, and show your team how to add pages that keep the site growing.

After launch we watch what Google indexes and what visitors type to reach you, and adjust titles and descriptions in the first months. Without that follow-up, a site tends to stay where it launched in the results.

Questions for a website design company in Syria

What should a website design company in Syria deliver?

A website built around your products and customers, in Arabic and English, that your team can manage, with a page map and a design you approve before development and a written scope and fee from the start.

How do I choose a website design company in Syria?

Open the sites it has launched and check that they work on your phone. Make sure the domain and the site will be registered in your company’s name, and ask for the page map, the scope and the fee in writing before any work starts.

How much does a company website cost in Syria?

It follows what we build: the number of pages and languages, the size of the catalogue, and features such as a store or a custom dashboard. We agree the scope with you first, then send a written proposal with a fixed fee.

Who owns the website and the domain?

You do. The domain is registered in your company’s name, and the files, the dashboard and the passwords are handed over to you, so you can move the site to any host whenever you want.

How do payments work?

By Sham Cash, in cash or in cryptocurrency, in instalments tied to the project stages and written into the proposal.

Can my customers pay online in Syria?

The practical options today are cash on delivery, ordering over WhatsApp, Sham Cash and cryptocurrency. We do not promise international payment gateways, and we build product pages that accept any method you add later.

Can I manage the website myself after launch?

Yes. The site comes with a dashboard for products, news and images, as on the Massa Foods, Golden Potato and Hawa Al Sham websites, which run on WordPress.

Do you build websites in Arabic and English?

Yes. We start with Arabic, right to left, and build English on the same structure, as on Massa Foods, Golden Potato and Hawa Al Sham.

Do you work with companies outside Damascus?

Yes. Our work includes Golden Potato and Hawa Al Sham in Rural Damascus. We meet clients in Damascus and work online with companies in Aleppo, Latakia, Homs and the other governorates, and abroad.

Will the website appear on Google?

We build fast pages with a title and description for every page and separate language versions, which is the groundwork Google needs to index a site. Rankings then grow with content and time, and we do not promise a position.
